Residence: Haines City, Fla.
Height: 5'8”

More determined than ever to claim an outdoor championship, James Stewart is healthy and dedicated to claiming the number one plate on his Monster Energy Kawasaki KX™450F. Stewart looked to be on his way to his first AMA Toyota Motocross Championship Presented by FMF title last season before he injured his knee while leading the season standings. The two-time Motocross Lites Champion (2002, ’04) is no stranger to the top step of the podium having claimed four national wins in the motocross class and 28 wins in the motocross lites class. In just eight starts, Stewart earned one victory and five additional runner-up finishes in 2007. Stewart injured his knee at Washougal, Wash., and missed the remainder of the season. He also missed the majority of the 2008 Supercross season after aggravating the injury during the off-season and having surgery in January.
